The position
Our summer internship is a 6-week programme designed to provide the experience and skills you need in your studies and future career. Our Norwegian and UK internship will begin on 19 June and ends on 4 August 2023, with one week off starting 17 July. By joining our Maintenance and Reliability Engineering team in Global Operational Technology (GOTE) you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform maintenance and reliability analyses to drive improvements within safety, regularity, environmental hazards and cost in order to support Equinor’s improvement agenda.
- Participate in maintenance engineering projects in various areas; oil/gas and renewables, from early phase to implementation.
- Contribute to develop and standardize deliveries within maintenance engineering in projects and operation.
- Participate in maintenance planning and execution
- Use digital opportunities and big data to support analysis and challenge or improve existing work processes including development of digital tools as needed
You

• Currently studying for Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or Ph.D. with a strong academic record within RAMS
• Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
• No more than one year of relevant full-time work experience
• Have completed at least two years of higher education before the internship programme starts (19 June 2023)
• Have at least one year of higher education left after the internship programme ends (4 August 2023)
• The interns need to be located in the country where the internship takes place during its entire duration. Equinor does not support any relocation for our summer interns.
• Candidates must have the necessary work permit for the country in which they are applying for a position. The work permits must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the employment. • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are an advantage
