Westfal-Larsen Management AS is searching for a candidate to a summer job from 15 June to 12 August 2022 at the Fleet Management Department.
Relevant competences for the summer job:
▪ Studies within Marine Technology; 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student.
▪ Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Norwegian.
▪ Well-organized, accurate and self-driven.
Main tasks:
▪ Decarbonization.
- Prepare a decarbonization roadmap for 2023.
- Write a white paper, a presentation of available decarbonization technologies for both drybulk and tank vessels.
- Describe the available decarbonization technologies using a SWOT analysis and prepare a pros and cons list.
- Perform sensitivity analysis for different operational scenarios in accordance with increasingly stringent CII requirements.
- Work out business cases (cost, installation, maintenance etc.)
- Prepare an enhanched SEEMP for each vessel.
- Present findings for senior management at the end of the internship.
▪ Tank coating for the future
- Compare the available technologies and prepare a pros and cons list.
▪ Follow up day-to-day activities at the Fleet Management department
